Murl D. Carver

Murl D. Carver, 87, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Scottsville, KY native was a retired Master Sergeant of the U.S. Air Force having served for 26 years, a former electronics technician, member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and the American Legion.  He was a son of the late Jesse Carver and Ruby Lee Stinson Carver.

He is survived by 1 son: David L. Carver, Lima, OH;

1 daughter: Gail Parker, Indianapolis, IN;

2 sisters: Mary Eloise Carver, Louisville, KY and Judy Carver, Scottsville, KY;

9 grandchildren: Sara, Benjamin, Hope, Daniel, Amanda, Haili, David, Jr., Allen and Jessie;

6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 2 sons:  Larry Carver and Raymond Carver; 1 daughter:  Debbie Carver Eskew; a daughter-in-law: Lisa Caver; 4 brothers: Aubrey, Henry, Gilbert and his twin, Earl Carver; 3 sisters: Louise Shockley, Bertha Haller and Jessie Clay Creek.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Shockley officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens with military honors by Glasgow D.A.V. Chapter 20.  Visitation will be 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Saturday and after 8:00 A.M. Sunday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
