Michael Joseph Bachschmidt, 66, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, April 21, 2025 at his residence. The Flint, Michigan native was the owner and operator of Air Medic, former facilities maintenance tech for W.K.U and HVAC services, a U.S. Navy veteran, lifetime member of Halfrey-Dalton V.F.W. Post 5712 and White Plains Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Robert Ernest Bachschmidt and Doris Ursula Rowe Battle.
He is survived by his wife: Rhonda Mayes Bachschmidt, Scottsville, KY;
2 daughters: Christina Bachschmidt Thomas and husband, Colton, Scottsville, KY; Amanda Jeanne Youngblood and husband, Mike, Adolphus, KY;
1 son: Robert Brandon Sanspree and wife, Cathy, Bowling Green, KY;
2 sisters: Michelle Bachschmidt Fountain and husband, Chuckie, Davie, FL; Linda Tyner, Orlando, FL;
3 grandchildren: Nickolas Allan Quesinberry, Katielyn Elizabeth Quesinberry (Tyler); Addison Brielle Youngblood and 1 unborn granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by 1 son: Robert Michael James Bachschmidt and 2 brothers: Robert John Bachschmidt and William James Bachschmidt.
A celebration of life will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday at White Plains Baptist Church with Ken Vinson officiating. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to any Veterans Charity of your choice. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
