Mary Helen Travis, 88, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021 at her residence. The Antlers, OK native was a homemaker and former volunteer for the Salvation Army. She was a daughter of the late John Beuford Garman and Mildred Louise Hawkins Garman and wife of the late Thomas Martin Travis.
She is survived by 7 sons: Cecil Hewitt (Edna), Scottsville, KY; Phillip Hewitt (Sandra) and Tommy Hewitt, all of Abilene, TX; Chuck Bradley, Grants Pass, OR; Steve Bradley (Mary Lou) and John Bradley, all of Prue, OK and Recil Travis (Susie), Osage, OK;
5 daughters: Linda Lockhard (John), Kerby, OR; Lana Aiassa, Grants Pass, OR; Cheryl Moro (Pete), Amarillo, TX; Cynthia Rowe (Lance), Bend, OR and Mary Napier (David), Sand Springs, OK;
1 brother: Doug Garman (Freida), Wilderville, OR;
1 sister: Debra Blankenship, Selma, OR;
41 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 3 sons: Rick Hewitt and twins: Ronald Dean and Donald Gene Hewitt; 2 brothers: David Garman and Lloyd Garman.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
