Mary Jean Caldwell, 68, of Adolphus, KY passed away Monday, May 13, 2024 at Tri-Star Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, TN. The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker and mother. She was a daughter of the late J. M. Yates and Estell Carter Harrison.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years: Charles Caldwell, Adolphus, KY;
2 sons: Chuck Caldwell and wife, Sheila, and Andy Caldwell and wife, Brittney, all of Adolphus, KY;
2 daughters: Tammie Jean Anderson, Adolphus, KY and Gina M. Garrison and husband, Barry, Westmoreland, TN;
3 brothers: Roy Harrison and wife, Tressa, and Jerry Harrison and wife, Theresa, all of Scottsville, KY; Cordell Yates and wife, Mary, Indianapolis, IN;
1 sister: Wanda Harrison, Scottsville, KY;
13 grandchildren: Cori Ranette Rhoton Mandrell, Charity Rippy, Hannah Caldwell, Lily Caldwell, Austin Cockrill, Carleigh Caldwell, Annabelle Caldwell, Lindsey Caldwell, Valeri Blake, Hannah Garrison, Alexis Arthur, Desirae Carter and Hunter Garrison;
25 great grandchldren and
Several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son: Jamie Allen Caldwell; 5 brothers: Bobby "Joker" Harrison, David Harrison, Jr., Dewayne Harrison, Billy Harrison and Carl Wayne Yates; 2 sisters: Carolyn Doss and Joyce Sloan and an aunt: Phyllis Ford.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Caldwell and Bro. David Simmons officiating and burial in the Rippy Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 7:00 a.m. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
