Marvin Lee Whitaker

Marvin Lee Whitaker, 83, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at his residence.  The Danville, KY native was a former employee of Kentucky Utilities in Elizabethtown, KY; retired employee of Tohono O'dham Utility Authority in Tucson, AZ and a Jehovah's Witness.  He was the son of the late Carl Jackson Whitaker and Myrtle Lee Plummer Whitaker. 

He is survived by his wife of 63 years:  Irene Whitaker, Scottsville, KY; 

1 son:  Christopher Keith Whitaker, Tucson, AZ; 

4 daughters:  Janet Lynn Bock and husband, Don, and Rachel Liane Neumann and husband, Shennandoah, all of Tucson, AZ; Kelly Dawn Brugger and husband, Jan, Alvaton, KY; Sydney Paige Kaercher and husband, John, Scottsville, KY; 

1 sister:  Norma Jean Baker and husband, Jackie, Ringgold, TA; 

4 grandchildren:  Jared Whitaker, Elijah Starks, Taylor Bock and Nicholas Starks. 

Cremation was chosen and a memorial service will be held at a later date.  Goad Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
