Martha Fishburn Obituary

Martha R. Fishburn, 78, formerly of Scottsville, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Creekwood Place Nursing & Rehab Center in Russellville, KY.  The Batesville, IN native was a homemaker, former employee of Huddle House and Wendys, former in-home caregiver and member of Bowling Green Praise and Worship.  She was a daughter of the late Virgil Riefel Hannebaum and Dorothea Anita Zimmermann Hannebaum. 

 

She is survived by 2 sons:  Rev. Carl Fishburn and wife, Judy, Oakland, KY and Timothy L. Hannebaum and wife, Debbie, Metamora, IN; 

1 daughter:  Victoria D. Holmes and husband, William, Phenix City, AL; 

1 brother:  Charles Hannebaum and wife, Shirley, Batesville, IN; 

7 grandchildren:  Bryant Pearson (Amy), Gina Cowart (Brad), Christopher Holmes, Tabby Desidero, Kristina Sullivan, Jon Smallwood and Chad Ernest; 

15 great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by a brother:  Philip E. Hannebaum and an infant sister. 

 

A private funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Fishburn and Rev. William Holmes officiating and burial in Oak Forest No. 1 Cemetery.  A drive-thru will be 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home.  We ask that you remain in your cars.  The funeral service will be live on Goad Funeral Home Facebook page beginning at 1:00 p.m.
