Martha Burge Obituary
Martha Reid Burge, 82, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, March 14, 2025 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green. She was born in Lafayette, TN to the late Marcus Otto Fuqua and Lillie Mae Reid Fuqua. She was a retired employee of Eli Lily Company, volunteer at Skeleton's Lair, member of LivActive Rock Steady Program for Parkinsons and Church of the Lakes.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years: Charlie Burge, Scottsville, KY;
1 daughter: Amy Lynn Burge, Scottsville, KY;
1 niece: Joyce Garrison and husband, Al, New Whiteland, IN;
1 nephew: Mike Fuqua, Indianapolis, IN;
1 great niece: Mandi Carr and husband, Tim, Guilford, IN;
1 great nephew: Marcus Garrison and wife, Lisa, Greenwood, IN;
5 great great nephews and
Dear family friends: Sherryl Lockett and Amy and Alex Kuhlick.
She was preceded in death by a son: Jeffrey Allen Burge and 1 brother: Leroy Fuqua.
There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
