Marrell Wayne Hogan, 81, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Brownsville, KY native was a retired employee of Holland Construction and Scotty's, a U.S. Army veteran, a member of Scottsville Church of Christ, American Legion, Halfrey Dalton V.F.W. Post 5712, N.R.A. and the National Quarter Horse Association. He loved dancing and training quarter horses. He was a son of the late Ballard Frank Hogan and Mary Elizabeth Wingfield Hogan.
He is survived by his wife: Linda Taylor Hogan, Scottsville, KY;
2 daughters: Shelly King and husband, Brandon and Laura Wesley and husband, Flint, all of Scottsville, KY;
2 step daughters: Rita York and husband, Robin and Deanna Whitney and husband, George, all of Scottsville, KY;
1 step son: Richard Taylor and wife, Penny, Scottsville, KY;
1 brother: Neal Hogan, Scottsville, KY;
Best Friend: Tyson;
10 grandchildren: Stephanie Maynard, Kyle Tuttle, Tanner Mutter, Ty Mutter, Kali Mutter, Jo Beth Graves, Sydney Garmon, Alex Arnold, Keaton Arnold and Raechel Hogan;
13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren;
8 step grandchildren: Robbie Valenzuela, Baillie York, Hunter York, Carlie Costello, Carson Taylor, Isaac Taylor, Ryley Whitney and Kayden Whitney;
4 step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 1 son: Kelly Wayne Hogan and 1 brother: Richard Hogan.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Hinton officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday and after 7:00 A.M. Monday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
