Mark Shockley

Mark Shockley, 69, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the Medical Center at Scottsville.  The Lafayette, TN native was a retired employee of Dollar General and a son of the late Layton Shockley and Dora Mae Gott Shockley and husband of the late Teresa Lee Payne Shockley.

He is survived by 2 daughters: Shea Shockley (Steven Copas) and Brittany Shockley, all of Scottsville, KY;

4 brothers: Layton Allen Shockley, Holland, KY; Dale Woods, Terry "Groundhog" Woods (Wendy), all of Scottsville, KY; Dewayne White (Gala), Red Boiling Springs, TN;

1 sister: Barbara Farley (Bobby), Adolphus, KY;

7 grandchildren: Jagger Shockley (Shayna); Jayden DelRossario, Jordan Shockley (Alexis); Trinity Shockley, Kyler Perez, Brayden Perez and Jase Shockley.

4 great grandchildren: Aleigha Shockley, Dakota Shockley, Leonidas Shockley and Rosa Lee Shockley and 1 unborn great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by 1 son: Christopher "Moe" Shockley; A son-in-law: Travis Whitmore and 1 sister: Debbie Sanders.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 7:00 A.M. Wednesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
