Obituary

Margie Keen Long, 91, of Adolphus, KY passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at her residence.  The Adolphus, KY native was a retired employee of Portland Manufacturing and a member of Robert's Tabernacle Church of God of Prophecy.  She was a daughter of the late Clarence Keen and Ethel Lee Stafford Keen. 

 

She is survived by her husband of over 75 years:  Grover Long, Adolphus, KY; 

1 son:  Gary Long and wife, Sherry, Adolphus, KY; 

2 daughters:  Faye Tabor and husband, Roy, Scottsville, KY and Linda Clark and husband, Delbert, Westmoreland, TN; 

1 sister:  Hazel Parker and husband, Wayne, Adolphus, KY; 

3 sisters-in-law:  Peggy Eaton, Adolphus, KY; Catherine Stinson, Scottsville, KY and Lois Cox, Gallatin, TN; 

9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren and 

Several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by 9 brothers:  James Keen, Cordell Keen, Arlie Keen, Edward "Red" Keen, William Keen, Jimmy Keen, Delbert Keen and infants:  Eldon Halfrey Keen and Randall Lee Keen and 1 sister:  Ruby Mae Keen. 

 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Graves and Bro. Danny Wilson officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Kevin Hinton officiating.  Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 7:00 a.m. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
