Obituary

Louise Dorsey Madden, 97, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, April 9, 2022 at her residence after a lengthy illness. The Bloomfield, KY native was a retired nurse for Central State Hospital and a Baptist. She was a daughter of the late Walter Dorsey and Maggie Sanders Dorsey.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years: Lee Madden, Scottsville, KY;

2 brothers: Bill Dorsey, Hardyville, KY and Bobby Joe Dorsey, Shepherdsville, KY;

6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren;

A special nieces and caregiver: Donna Newcom and husband, Dean "Partner", Birdseye, IN.

She was preceded in death by 3 sons: Steven Lewis Allen, Ronald Joseph Allen and Thomas Larry Allen; a grandson; 1 sister: Trudy Riggs and 1 brother: Jimmy Dorsey.

Graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. (EDT) at Highland Memory Gardens in Mt. Washington, KY. Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
