Louis Wayne Shelton

Louis Wayne Shelton, 66, of Adolphus, KY passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care.  The Scottsville, KY native was a farmer, former employee of Federal Mogul, loved hunting and member of Robert's Tabernacle Church of God of Prophecy.  He was a son of  the late Kermit Wilson Shelton and Naomi Ermajean Borders Shelton and husband of the late Nancy Carol Glaab Shelton.

He is survived by 2 sons: Marcus Shelton and wife, Mindy, Adolphus, KY and Eric Pitchford and wife, Shannon, Scottsville, KY;

1 daughter: Tara Varner and husband, Brian, Scottsville, KY;

8 grandchildren: Marcus Lee, Jordan Lee, Bailey Shelton, Elena Shelton, Austin Varner (Kenzie), Breann Varner, Erica Cockrill (Jarrett), Averie Pitchford;

1 unborn granddaughter: Adaline Shelton;

1 great grandchild: Jolie Cockrill and 1 unborn great granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by 1 brother: Maurice Glen Shelton.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy Glaab officiating and burial in Oak Forest No. 1 Cemetery.  Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 7:00 A.M. Wednesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
