Louis Deuley Caldwell, 95, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the Medical Center at Scottsville, KY. The Charleston, WV native was a WW II U. S. Navy veteran, a former employee of the Charleston Gazette and Nashville Tennessean, a retired employee of Industrial Air and member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Louis Ray Caldwell and Garnett Lillian Deuley Caldwell and husband of the late Iva Jane Hill Caldwell.
He is survived by 3 sons: Timothy Lee Caldwell and wife, Jan, White House, TN; Mark Caldwell, Franklin, KY and James Ress Caldwell and wife, Judy, Scottsville, KY;
2 daughters-in-law: Mary Caldwell, Hendersonville, TN and Carolyn Caldwell Goddard, Chattanooga, TN;
1 brother: Curtis Ress Caldwell and wife, Patsy, Lexington, KY;
1 sister: Nancy Blankenship, Charleston, WV;
5 grandchildren: Mark Allen Caldwell, Jr., Melissa Hines, Kathy Caldwell, Paul Caldwell and Daniel Caldwell;
7 great grandchildren and
1 great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by 2 sons: Louis Steven Caldwell and Roger Beven Caldwell; 1 granddaughter: Amy Lynn Caldwell; 1 grandson: Jonathan Brandon Caldwell; 1 brother: Charles Robert Caldwell; 1 sister: Patsy Ann Lucas and 1 daughter-in-law: Patsy Caldwell.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Ron Spurgeon and Bro. Mark Horton officiating and burial in Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until funeral time at Harmony Missionary Baptist Church.
