Lou Barnard, 77, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, June 14, 2021 at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green. The Adolphus, KY native was a former employee of Washington Overall Manufacturing and member of Freedom Hill Church. She was a daughter of the late Roscoe Calvin Perdue and Lizzie Liene Goolsby Perdue and wife of the late Hershel Barnard.
She is survived by 1 daughter: Lisa Wallin and husband, Jack, Scottsville, KY;
2 sisters: Dorothy Cook, Nashville, TN and Stella Cline and husband, Carroll, Adolphus, KY;
2 grandsons: William Ryan Long and Kalan Edward Long;
4 great grandchildren: Quinton, Greyson, Carsen and Dawson Long.
She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Jim Perdue, R.C. Perdue and J. D. Perdue and 2 sisters: Frances Morris and Thelma Wilson.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Russell Mills officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 7:00 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Maple Grove Cemetery Fund. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
