Lonnie Cherry, 59, of Bowling Green, KY and formerly of Scottsville, KY, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. Lonnie was born December 29, 1961 in Columbus, IN the son of the late Grady Louis Cherry and Clarine Vaughn Cherry.
He is survived by his wife: Paula Cherry, Bowling Green, KY;
1 son: John Justin Cherry and wife, Angie, Scottsville, KY;
3 daughters: Shelby Gore and Kelli Gore, both of Bowling Green, KY and Caitlyn Hall, Louisville, KY;
1 brother: Eddie Cherry and wife, Sandy, Scottsville, KY;
3 sisters: Judy Beal, Angel Cline and Chasity Cherry Shelton, all of Scottsville, KY;
Several nieces, nephews and in-laws.
He was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Donnie Cherry, Ronnie Joe Cherry and Freddy Cherry.
Memorial service will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Pavilion on the right past Barren River Dam on Highway 252 with Bro. Michael Shrum officiating. Following the service, a small potluck will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Victory Hill Church - Building C. If you are planning to attend, please call 270-535-5930.
