Lizzie Ellen (Martin) Davis

Lizzie Ellen Martin Davis, 84, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the Medical Center at Scottsville.  She was born in Etoile, KY to the late Tom Martin and Daisy Lavanna Key Martin and was preceded in death by her husband, Banly Franklin Davis.  Lizzie worked on the farm, was a retired cook for the Medical Center at Scottsville, a former cook at the  Allen County War Memorial Hospital and attended Freedom Hill Church.  

She is survived by 1 son:  Russell Davis and wife, Patricia, Scottsville, KY; 

A son-in-law:  Bobby Ford and wife, Roxanna, Bowling Green, KY; 

A daughter-in-law:  Gennice Davis, Scottsville, KY; 

1 brother:  Billy Martin (Barbara), Scottsville, KY; 

7 grandchildren:  Lana Reynolds (Josh), Mary Sisco (Chris), Cody Davis (Katlin), Katie Davis (Tyler), Brian Ford, Rian Ford and Riley Davis; 

6 great grandchildren:  Zander Reynolds, Graycen Reynolds, Colton Shaw, Ayden Sisco, Connor Ford and Jaxson Davis; 

1 unborn great great granddaughter:  Elana Shaw. 

She was preceded in death by a daughter:  Connie Ford; a son:  Banly Joe Davis and 2 brothers:  Virgil Martin and James Martin. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Russell Mills and Randy Richey officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 7:00 a.m. Tuesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
