Linda Darnell Costello, 81, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. The Scottsville, KY native was a retired employee of WRTV Channel 6 in Indianapolis, IN, former employee of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Army Corp of Engineers and Earl G. Dumplins and a member of Union Chapel Methodist Church and Scottsville Chapter #60 O. E. S. She was a daughter of the late B J Kendall and Juanita Francis Duke Kendall and wife of the late Paul Carson Costello.
She is survived by 1 daughter: Michelle Sharp (Charles), Scottsville, KY;
2 brothers: Mark Kendall (Sherry), Scottsville, KY and Joe Kendall (Beverly), Lexington, KY;
1 sister: Dianne Kendall-Simmons, Scottsville, KY;
3 grandchildren: Brittany Costello, Brianna Sharp and Brian Sharp (Courtney);
2 great grandchildren: Aiden and Asher Sharp;
1 special grandson: Kristian Simmons and
Several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law: Violet Kendall.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with burial in Union Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 7:00 a.m. Wednesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. Scottsville Chapter #60 O.E.S. will hold rites at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home. The service can be viewed live on the Goad Funeral Home Facebook page beginning at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday.
