Obituary
Lewie Shockley, 83, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. The Flippin, KY native was a farmer, former employee of Murray Guard, Chrysler Airtemp, Hartsville T.V.A. and member of White Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Raymond Shockley and Virgie Belle Hale Shockley.
He is survived by his wife: Charlotte Shockley, Scottsville, KY;
1 daughter: Karen Shockley Costello and husband, Jeff, Scottsville, KY;
3 grandchildren: Corey Shockley (JoBeth); Jake Costello (Carlie) and Elly Shockley;
5 great grandchildren: Avery, Bodey and Madelyn Shockley; Case and Corbin Costello;
He was preceded in death by 1 son: Bruce Wayne Shockley and wife, Diane.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Costello officiating and burial in Cedar Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 Noon to 8:00 P.M. Sunday and after 7:00 A.M. until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Hospice House. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
