Lessie Cook Obituary

Lessie B. Cook, 85, of Adolphus, KY passed Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.  The Scottsville, KY native was a retired employee of Dollar General Warehouse, a former sawmill worker, loved hunting and fishing and member of Robert's Tabernacle Church of God of Prophecy.  He was a son of the late Porter Cook and Minnie Madden Cook.

 

He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Leta Sue Cook, Adolphus, KY;

1 brother: Jessie Ray Cook, Portland, TN;

2 sisters-in-law:  Bonnie Cook and Marie Cook, both of Adolphus, KY;

14 nieces, 27 nephews and several great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Jesse Willard Cook, James Donnie "T-Bow" Cook and Cecil Cook; 4 sisters: Jean Manley, Dorothy Wallace, Mary Lancaster and Joyce Ann Weaver.

 

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Friday at Goad Funeral Home with burial in Robert's Tabernacle Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Friday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
