Laurie Leavitt Obituary

Laurie Jean Leavitt, 65, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at her residence.  The Lansing, MI native was a retired cook.  She was the daughter of the late Oren Charles Parmelee and Janice Arlene Burton Parmelee and wife of the late Rusty Leavitt. 

 

She is survived by 1 son:  Jeremy Hawkins and wife, Tiffany, Leslie, MI;

1 daughter:  Jamie Gonzalez and husband, Marcos, Scottsville, KY; 

1 brother:  Charlie Parmelee and wife, Debbie, Laingsburg, MI;

A sister-in-law:  Shelia Parmelee, Ithaca, MI; 

A special aunt:  Stevie Ruppert, Leroy, MI;

Her soul sister:  Lori Clementshaw, Manton, MI; 

5 grandchildren:  Easton Hawkins, Emery Hawkins, Marcos Gonzalez (Joana), Julian Gonzalez (Payton) and Ayden Gonzalez;

1 great grandson:  Liam Gonzalez.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers:  Howie Parmelee and Scott Parmelee. 

 

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
