Larry Cox Obituary

Larry Joe Cox, 74, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care.  The Westmoreland, TN native was a former employee of Advanced Plastics, a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church and Westmoreland Lodge #436 F & AM.  He was a son of the late Toy Lee Gregory and Flossie Naomi Blankenship Gregory and husband of the late Teresa Ann Boyd Cox. 

 

He is survived by 3 sons:  Kenny Cox (Katie), Scottsville, KY; Scotty Cox (Danya) and Gary Cox (Tammy), all of Lafayette, TN;

3 brothers:  Tony Cox (Marie), New Kensington, PA; Ricky Gregory (Tana), Clarksville, TN and Jeffery Gregory (Janice), Niota, TN; 

7 grandchildren:  Courtney Gann (Derrick), Curtis Cox (Devan), Braydon Cox, Taylor Cox, Ashton Cox, Kendall Cox and 1 unborn granddaughter:  Ruby Jo Cox; 

1 unborn great granddaughter:  Andi Kate Cox. 

 

There will be no visitation or service at this time.  Cremation was chosen and a memorial graveside service will be held at a later date.  Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.   In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
