Larry V. Britt

Larry V. Britt, 82, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 at the Medical Center at Scottsville.  The Glasgow, KY native was a retired ironwoker, a farmer and member of Chestnut Point Missionary Baptist Church where he served as Church clerk.  He was a son of the late Trulon Edward Britt and Ollie T. Winn Britt.

He is survived by his wife: Marlene Tinsley Britt, Scottsville, KY;

2 sons: David Britt and wife, Becky, Chillicothe, OH; John Matthew Britt, Scottsville, KY;

1 daughter: Marla V. Waldron and husband, Gene, Cincinnati, OH;

1 brother: Trulon Britt, Jr. and wife, Mabel, Austin Tracy, KY;

15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 1 brother: Audley Lyn Britt.

Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Louis Heston officiating and burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Chestnut Point Church.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
