Larner Fishburn Obituary

Larner Ray Fishburn, 68, of Canton, IL passed away Monday, April 21, 2025 at his residence.  The Indianapolis, IN native was a retired employee of the U.S. Postal Service and a son of the late Raymond D. Fishburn and Willie Mae Blankenship Fishburn. 

 

He is survived by 1 son: Raymond Fishburn and wife, Diana, Canton, IL;

1 daughter: Amber Montgomery, Richmond, IN;

7 grandchildren: Raymond Lee Fishburn, Calina Montgomery, Jazmyne Calvert, Aribella Clardy, Shyla Clardy, Ashley Montgomery and Charles Montgomery.

He was preceded in death by 1 sister: Shirley Green.

 

Graveside service will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2025 at Oak Forest No. 1 Cemetery with Bro. William Holmes officiating.  Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
