Kim (Shoulders) Moffitt

Kim Moffitt, 59, of Adolphus, KY passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Indianapolis, IN native was a homemaker, loving wife, mom and grandmother and former Aquatics Director at the Scottsville YMCA.  She was a charter member of Outreach Missionary Baptist Church in Camby, IN where she served as pianist and member of Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church in Lafayette, TN.  She was the daughter of the late Wayne Douglas Shoulders and Karen Sue Drollinger Shoulders York, who survives. 

She is survived by her husband:  Jim Moffitt, Adolphus, KY; 

Her mother:  Karen York, Scottsville, KY; 

Her mother-in-law:  Sue Compton, Indianapolis, IN; 

2 sons:  Dustin Moffitt and wife, Kayla and Jordan Moffitt and wife, Brooke, all of Plainfield, IN; 

4 daughters:  Brittany Blankenship and husband, James Allen, Adolphus, KY; Caitlin Featherston and husband, Steven, Oakland, KY; Crystal Moffitt, Camby, IN and Amber Taylor, Indianapolis, IN; 

2 brothers:  Bro. Monty Shoulders and wife, Michelle, Beth Page, TN and James Shoulders and wife, Jenny, FL;

1 sister:  Kelly Beddow, Brownsburg, IN; 

12 grandchildren:  Elizabeth Gardener, Aubry Blankenship, Aiden Blankenship, Avery Blankenship, A. J. Blankenship, Peyton Featherston, Riley Rezza, Kohen Moffitt, Kyler Moffitt, Karson Moffitt, Tinsley Moffitt and Macie Featherston.

Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Kyle Reid officiating and burial in New Salem Cemetery.  Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 7:00 a.m. Thursday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
