Kermit Erwin Obituary

Kermit Ray Erwin, 77, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  He was a farmer, former employee of Holley Carburetor, former truck driver, U. S. Army veteran and member of Meador V. F. D. and New Hope Missionary Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and Sunday School teacher.  He was the son of the late Carlton Byron Erwin and Zelma Cloteel Osborne Erwin and husband of the late Sue Katherine Oliver Erwin. 

 

He is survived by 3 daughters:  Kristy Ruble (Amy), Lyle, MN; Kandi Erwin, Newton, IA and Kimberly Erwin, Bowling Green, KY; 

3 grandchildren:  Keltic Erwin-Johnson, Nic Lambert-Ruble and Aiden Lambert; 

Several cousins. 

 

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Joey Green, Bro. Kelvin Copas and Bro. Doug Pitchford officiating and burial in New Hope Cemetery.  Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 7:00 a.m. Tuesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to New Hope Missionary Baptist Church or Allen County-Scottsville Animal Shelter.   Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
