Kenneth Wade, 88, of Alvaton, KY passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green. Kenneth was born October 1, 1937, in Scottsville, KY to the late Aubrey Neal Wade and Bonnie Ellen Wilson Wade. He lived in Dallas, Texas for 27 years where he suceeded as a salesman for Benjamin Moore Paint. He was a Viet Nam U.S. Army veteran stationed in Germany, a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church, New Roe Lodge #592 F & A.M. and Scottish Rite. Kenneth had a very big heart, loved his family and friends and loved to crack jokes.
He is survived by 2 brothers: Jimmy Wade and wife, Judy and Joe Wade and wife, Barbara, all of Scottsville, KY;
2 sisters: Brenda Sue Perdue, Bowling Green, KY and Nelda Frances Keith, White House, TN;
A special niece and caregiver: Sherry Yurchinsin and husband, Mark, Alvaton, KY and several other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years: Joyce Ovington Wade and 1 brother: Charles Wade.
Memorial service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Pastor Michael Bertsch officiating and masonic rites by New Roe Lodge #592 F & A.M. Visitation will be 12:00 P.M. until service time at Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Goad Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
