Keith Allen Dietz, 68, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green after a long and courageous battle with lung and heart disease. Keith overcame drug and alcohol addictions and developed a very successful recovery program in Bradenton, FL and Scottsville, KY serving others helping them to overcome addiction. There were hundreds of success stories, and it was his calling and he handled it well. He was co-owner and co-operator of Brighter Side and member of True Gospel Fellowship Church. He enjoyed camping, riding his motorcycle with his friends, NASCAR and spending time with his grandchildren, friends and dogs. He was born in New Albany, NY to the late Richard Eugene Dietz and Nadine Murray Dietz.
He is survived by his wife: Jackie Graves Dietz, Scottsville, KY;
1 son: John Richard Dietz, Evansville, IN;
2 step sons: Josh Davis (Julie), Scottsville, KY; David "DJ" Herrington (Theresa), Brownsville, KY;
A special step son: Donnie Harrison and wife, Dana, Scottsville, KY;
2 brothers: Ricky Dietz and Glenn Dietz (Judy), all of Calhoun, KY;
7 step grandchildren: Blake Davis (Bethany), Hailey Davis, Kelsey Herrington and Kinsley Herrington, all of Scottsville, KY; Taygen, Aven and Genelle, all of Brownsville, KY;
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert Dietz and Kenny Dietz.
There will be no visitation or service at this time. A graveside service will be held at a later date at True Gospel Fellowship Cemetery. Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
