June Lyles, 89, of the Trammel Community passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at the Medical Center at Scottsville. The Allen County, KY native was a former employee of Doug and Mack's Grocery and the Citizen Times, she was active in the formation of Trammel Volunteer Fire Department and member of Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late William B. Pearson and Viola Marie Howell Pearson and wife of the late Darrel V. Lyles.
She is survived by 1 daughter: Linda Lambert (Mark), Pope Community;
1 son: Tim Lyles (P.K.), Pope Community;
1 sister: Virginia Graves (Eutra), Scottsville, KY;
A special friend: Bobby Thomas, Trammel Community;
6 grandchildren: Kelly Ransom (Spring); Kevin Ransom; Jason Lambert (Kimberly); Eric Lyles (Britney); Becca Litsey (Matt); Kaylynn Morgan (Michael);
10 great grandchildren: Kayla Steele (Brandon); Seth Ransom; Harmony Ransom; Thomas Lambert; Hannah Lambert; Charlotte Lyles; Caroline Lyles; Eli Litsey; Owen Litsey; Eastyn Morgan;
1 step great grandson: Bryson Carr;
3 great great grandchildren: Shelby Steele, Olivia Steele and Brayden Steele.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Wayne Pearson and Bill Pearson, Jr., 1 sister: Lavinia Warden and 1 step granddaughter: Tonya McCandless.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Chad Harston, Bro. Kaleb Anderson and Bro. Jeremy England officiating and burial in Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday and after 7:00 A.M. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Harmony Cemetery. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
