Judy Collins Obituary
Judy Marie Collins, 77, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, March 11, 2024 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY. The Wichita Falls, TX native was the owner and founder of Takeetna Good Times Newspaper in Takeetna, AK. She was a daughter of the late Alvis Paul Gowen and Wanda Lee Parsley Gowen.
She is survived by her husband: Jim "J. D." Collins, Scottsville, KY;
3 sons: Jess Leon Ford (Christina), Princeton, ID; Scott Paul Rode (Milada), Ozark, AL; Jared Collins (Liz), WA;
3 daughters: Dondi Visser (Marianna), Ashland, OR; Tara Anderson and Jamie Pehl, both of MN;
2 sisters: Connie Browning, Oregon City, OR and Joyce Larsen, Proffer, WA.
She was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Betty Hayes and Lana Gaye Armstrong.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
