Joyce (Humphrey) Renfro

Joyce Humphrey Renfro, 80, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.  The Glasgow, KY native was a retired employee of Houchens Industries, member of New Vision Church in Bonayr, KY and Austin O. E. S.  She was a daughter of the late Virgil Humphrey and Mildred Amanda Wilson Humphrey and wife of the late Jerry Elvis Renfro.  

She is survived by 1 daughter:  Melinda Cook and husband, Greg, Scottsville, KY; 

1 brother:  Jerry Humphrey, Bowling Green, KY; 

1 sister:  Sylvia Smith, Murfreesboro, TN; 

2 grandchildren:  Baylea Cook, Bowling Green, KY and Seth Cook, Scottsville, KY;

A niece, several nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2024 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Marsh and Bro. Lawrence Gilliam officiating an burial in Beech Grove Cemetery in Barren County.  Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and after 7:00 a.m. Monday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Hospice House.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
