Joyce Marie (West) Petty

Joyce Marie Petty, 83, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday at the Medical Center at Scottsville.  The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker, retired employee of Sumitomo, a member of Clifton General Baptist Church and attended Abounding Grace Ministries.  She was a daughter of the late Olen Becom West and Avie Arlin Rippy West and wife of the late Leon Roe Petty.

She is survived by 2 sons: Kenneth Petty and wife, Jill, Lebanon, TN and Kevin Petty, Scottsville, KY;

1 daughter: Kim Arnold and husband, John, Scottsville, KY;

6 grandchildren: Darlena Bray (Tommy); Emily Green; Shena Graves (Daniel); April Smith (Joby); Sky Smith (Cody); John Pendley (Emily);

Several great and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 1 grandson: Brandon Petty and 1 son: Kelly Petty.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Elvis Farley officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 7:00 A.M. Thursday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
