Joshua Michael Purvis

Joshua Michael Purvis, 52, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.  He was born in Ft. Lewis, WA to Michael Vernon Purvis, who survives, and the late Connie Elaine Michael Purvis.  He was an employee of Henkel Corporation in Bowling Green, KY. 

He is survived by his life companion:  Angela Schultz, Scottsville, KY; 

His dad:  Mike Purvis and wife, Victoria, Scottsville, KY; 

2 sons:  Zachary Purvis, Michigan and Vincent Purvis, Scottsville, KY; 

1 daughter:  Ava Purvis, Scottsville, KY; 

2 sisters:  Cara Jones, Van, TX and Crystale Schultz, Scottsville, KY; 

1 granddaughter:  Teagan Purvis; 

A special aunt:  Bonnie Bennett and husband, Stacy, Jonesboro, IN; 

1 niece:  Casey Purvis, Van Buren, IN. 

He was preceded in death by a brother:  Jason Michael Purvis. 

Memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Goad Funeral Home.  Visitation will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
