Joseph Hodges, Sr. Obituary
Joseph Dorris Hodges, Sr., 90, of Bowling Green, KY and formerly of the Trammel Community, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Creekwood Nursing & Rehab Center in Russellville, KY. The Bowling Green, KY native was a graduate of Alvaton High School, a U. S. Navy veteran, former employee of Holley Carburetor, farmer and member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. He was a son of the late Joe Franklin Hodges and Hazel Wade Dorris Hodges and husband of the late Sandra Kay Schulze Hodges.
He is survived by 2 sons: John Wade Hodges and wife, Leslie, Goodlettsville, TN and Joe D. Hodges, Jr. and wife, Benita, Bowling Green, KY;
1 sister: Pamela Hodges, Louisville, KY;
3 grandchildren: Wade Hodges (Emily), Wes Hodges and Ally Jo Hodges;
1 great granddaughter: Maisy Hodges.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Jack Hodges.
A memorial breakfast and visitation (come and go) will be 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Richpond Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 200 Brad Avenue, Bowling Green, KY. Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
