Jimmy Stinson, 67, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, December 7, 2019 at the Medical Center at Scottsville. The Scottsville, KY native was a retired employee of Johnson Lumber Company and a former employee of G. & W. Furniture and Kentucky Apparel. He was a son of the late James Edward Stinson and Daisy Jewell Sloan Stinson.
He is survived by his wife: Robbie Stinson, Scottsville, KY;
2 sons: Billy Patterson and wife, Tonya, Scottsville, KY and Ronald Childers, Bowling Green, KY;
1 daughter: Renay Patterson, Scottsville, KY;
1 brother: Bobby Stinson and wife, Patricia, Scottsville, KY;
3 sisters: Martha Harrison and Patty Jo Webb, both of Scottsville, KY; Shirley Adamson and husband, Buddy, Adolphus, KY;
12 grandchildren: Devan Willis (Greg), Loran Slaten (Nikki), Baylee Johnson (Bricen Borders), Spencer Patterson (Ameriah Taylor), Lexi Johnson, Kyle Scott (Summer), Makenzie Patterson (John Eaton), Blake Patterson, Kagen Patterson, Tanner Harper, Kaitlyn Gillock and James Burns;
10 great grandchildren: IV Willis, Brilee Calvert, S. J. Patterson, Myla Patterson, Jase Scott, Noah Scott, Kenneth Scott, Kyler Eaton, Maddox Gillock and Ryland Gillock.
He was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Jennifer Burns and Penny Patterson and 1 great grandson: Asher Willis.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Atwood officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 7:00 a.m. until funeral time Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
