Jessie C. Berry

Jessie C. Berry, 65, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at his residence.  The Scottsville, KY native was a self employed logger, former employee of Marvin Wood Lumber Company and attended Abounding Grace Ministries.  He was a son of the late Clyde Estell Berry and Lois Adell Medley Berry.

He is survived by his wife: Carolyn Berry, Scottsville, KY;

3 sons: Dale Berry and wife, Jennifer, Lafayette, TN; Matthew Berry and wife, Elizabeth and Daniel Threet and wife, Jennifer, all of Scottsville, KY;

1 daughter: Deborah Bates, Scottsville, KY;

2 brothers: James "Cotton" Berry and Charles Berry and wife, Louise, all of Scottsville, KY;

9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild;

He was preceded in death by  2 sisters: Joetta Harp and Diane Napier and 1 grandson: Josh Lyons.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick and Bro. Elvis Farley officiating and burial in Oak Forest No. 1 Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Saturday and after 8:00 A.M. Sunday until funeral time.
