Jeffrey Scott Witt

Jeffrey Scott Witt, 65, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, May 30, 2025 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  He was born in Indianapolis, IN to the late Aubrey Wilson "Dick" Witt and Dorothy Priscilla Buchanan Witt.  He was a former building contractor and U. S. Army veteran. 

He is survived by his companion:  Hope Dill and her daughter, Emily, Scottsville, KY; 

1 son:  Josh Witt and wife, Elizabeth, Scottsville, KY; 

1 daughter:  Meggan Oberg and husband, Robert, Bowling Green, KY; 

2 brothers:  Joe Witt and wife, Debbie, Scottsville, KY and Dwight Witt, Martinsville, IN; 

3 sisters:  Lisa Guerrero, Center, KY; Janie Davis, Peoria, AZ and Jackie Headlee, Indianapolis, IN; 

5 grandchildren:  Rebecca Oberg, Mycle Thomas, Autumn Witt, Jacob Witt and Lillian Witt; 

Several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by a daughter:  Brianna Witt; 2 sisters:  Phyllis Bridges and Ann Deal; 2 brothers:  Mike Witt and Charles Witt. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Wells officiating and burial in New Bethel Baptist Cemetery with military honors by Glasgow DAV Chapter 20.   Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
