Jeanetta Centers Pitchford

Jeanetta Centers Pitchford, 95, of Bowling Green, KY and formerly of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, KY.  The Scottsville, KY native was a former employee of Washington Overall Manufacturing and General Electric, member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church, Allen County Historical Society and DAR, a local volunteer Ombudsman and attended Dover Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a daughter of the late Ellis Austin Centers and Winnie Davis Centers. 

She is survived by her husband of 76 years:  Milton Pitchford, Bowling Green, KY;

2 sons:  Michael Dale Pitchford (Kay), LaVista, NE and Murl M. Pitchford, Jr. (Elizabeth), Salvisa, KY; 

1 daughter:  Linda Pitchford Geis (Robert), Oklahoma City, OK; 

1 sister:  Juanita Berriger, Lawrenceburg, KY; 

6 grandchildren:  Ellis T. Pitchford, Jennifer Burke (Chris), Kristin Brandenburg (Michael), Jeremy Brandenburg (Marissa), Caleb Geis and Grace Pitchford. 

She was preceded in death by 1 daughter:  Marla Brandenburg; 3 brothers:  Felbert, Edgar and Jay Centers and 1 sister:  Vebere Deweese. 

Funeral service will 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Patterson officiating and  burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.   Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 7:00 a.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
