James "Jim" Snyder, Jr. 63, of Adolphus, KY passed away Friday, August 1, 2025 at his residence. The Rochelle, Illinois native was a former truck driver and a son of the late James "Sam" Phillip Snyder, Sr. and Norma Jean Vanstone Snyder.
He is survived by 1 daughter: Jasmyn Ortiz (Jose), MN;
3 step children: Alyssa Pilgrim (Kyle), Scottsville, KY; Abbigayle Ethridge (Brandon), Bowling Green, KY; Cordell Ethridge, Adolphus, KY;
1 sister: Terry Erickson (Lee), MI;
Best friends: Elizabeth and Nicholas Ethridge, Adolphus, KY;
2 grandchildren: Alyana Ortiz and Damean Ortiz, both of MN;
3 step grandchildren: Natalya Pilgrim, Kathryn Pilgrim and Lillian Meyer.
There will be no visitation or service. Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
