James Lester Fishburn

James Lester Fishburn, 71, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at his residence.  The Scottsville, KY native was a retired employee of Smuckers and former employee of R. R. Donnelly.  He was a son of the late Junior C. Fishburn and Novada Fay Napier Fishburn, who survives. 

He is survived by 3 daughters:  Cristy Sparks and husband, Kevin, Monticello, IN; Kimberly Terry and husband, Keith, Greenfield, IN and Jamie Fishburn, Glasgow, KY; 

His mother:  Novada Fishburn, Scottsville, KY; 

1 brother:  Scot Fishburn and wife, Kim, Prescott, AZ; 

1 sister:  Sheila Puckett and husband, Carroll, Shelbyville, IN; 

9 grandchildren:  Samantha Metzner, Emalee Fisher, Logan Fishburn, Alex Ailes, Shelby Ailes, Paul Turner, Bentley Turner, Lilly Turner and Kati Terry; 

2 great grandchildren:  James Scot Metzner and Serena Brickles. 

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2023 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Hogue officiating and burial in Oak Forest No. 1 Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Monday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
