James Earl Carver, 73, of Scottsville, KY passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at his residence. The Scottsville, KY native was a retired employee of Sumitomo, former employee of Marvin Wood Lumber Company, Dayton Walter and Fleetwood Homes. He was a son of the late J.E. Carver and Zelma B. Isenberg Carver and husband of the late Pamela Ann Wood Carver.
He is survived by 1 daughter: Wendy Renee Sullivan, Scottsville, KY;
4 brothers: Richard Carver; David Carver (Karen); Roger Carver (June) and Gary Carver (Charlotte), all of Scottsville, KY;
2 grandchildren: Destiny Sullivan and Calcifer Sullivan;
1 great granddaughter: Roselyn Sullivan-Wittig;
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Lisa Michelle Carver; 1 brother: Willie Earl Carver and wife, Jeanette; 1 grandson: Vincent Storm Sullivan.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Carver officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday and after 7:00 A.M. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
