Jack Costello

Jack Costello, 87, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, July 29, 2024 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Scottsville, KY native was a retired mechanic, former employee of Dollar General, Wayne Dunn Chevrolet and Carter's White Plains Shell.  He was a member of East End General Baptist Church where he formerly served as deacon, song leader and Sunday School teacher.   Jack was a son of the late Pellie Oliver Costello and Clarine Calvert Costello and husband of the late Shelby Jean Cornwell Costello and Joan Leisten Costello. 

He is survived by 1 son:  Tim Costello and wife, Paula, Scottsville, KY; 

1 granddaughter:  Shelby Costello; 

A sister-in-law:  Glada Costello Hastings, Scottsville, KY; 

Several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by a brother:  Eulois Costello and a sister:  Alice Kinslow. 

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Carver officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 7:00 a.m. Thursday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
