Hollis E. Groce, 63, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Select Specialty Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. The Burkesville, KY native was a employee of New Mather Metals in Franklin, KY and a son of the late Edward Joseph Groce and Anna Robin Marie Hardin Groce.
He is survived by his wife: Judy Groce, Scottsville, KY;
1 daughter: Robin Marie Groce, Scottsville, KY;
1 step son: Chris Stephens, Scottsville, KY;
1 step daughter: Tammy Nichols and husband, Shane, Lafayette, TN;
1 brother: Troy Groce, Scottsville, KY;
3 sisters: Wonzie Strode, Scottsville, KY; Eutiva Dodson, KY; Monnie Arms, Columbia, KY;
2 sisters-in-law: Jane Groce, Louisville, KY and Connie Groce, Scottsville, KY;
2 grandchildren: Devon Dewayne Habegger and Alayna Marie Habegger;
2 unborn great grandchildren;
4 step grandchildren: Jadyn Stephens, Taylor Barton, Sky Graves and Dru Carter and 4 step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 5 brothers: Noel, Barney, Lonnie, Ennis, Wavel and Clifton Groce and 1 sister: Wilma Farlee.
Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Riddle officiating and burial in Allen County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 7:00 A.M. Wednesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
