Harlin Clay Harwood

Harlin Clay Harwood, 92, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Colonial Center Nursing Home in Bowling Green, KY.  The Holland, KY native was a farmer, retired brick layer and Missionary Baptist.  He was a son of the late Harry Harwood and Norma Della White Harwood and husband of the late Ramona "Tony" Marsh Harwood. 

He is survived by 1 son:  Gil Jason Harwood and wife, Kendra, Scottsville, KY; 

2 brothers:  Tommy Harwood and Marshall Harwood and wife, Kay, all of Scottsville, KY; 

1 sister:  Bonnie Hesson and husband, Bro. Kenny, Holland, KY; 

2 grandchildren:  Blake Harwood and  wife, Jamie, and Amber Harwood; 

2 great grandchildren:  Brantley Harwood and Laken Harwood; 

Several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by a daughter:  Deborah Suzanne Harwood; 1 son:  Michael Clay Harwood; 2 brothers:  Jerry Harwood and Bobby Harwood; 1 sister:  Shirley Downing; a sister-in-law:  Sharon Gail Harwood and a nephew:  Scotty Hesson. 

Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Hogue and Bro. Ron Spurgeon officiating and burial in Mt. Union Cemetery.  Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 7:00 a.m. Wednesday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
