Hal Keen, 77, of Scottsville, KY passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the Medical Center at Scottsville. The Scottsville, KY native was a retired master mechanic for KIA, former air craft mechanic and member of Beech Grove General Baptist Church where he served as a former Sunday School teacher. He was a son of the late Paul Justice Keen and Follis Audrey Taylor Keen Watkins and husband of the late Janice Faye Smith Keen.
He is survived by 1 son: David Keen, Scottsville, KY;
1 daughter: Donna Keen, Scottsville, KY;
2 brothers: Denny Keen (Royleen), Bedford, IN and Bill Keen (Michelle), Toledo, OH;
2 granddaughters: Cortney Lewis (Drake) and Taylor Keen (Steve);
2 great grandchildren: Vivienne and Jet Lewis and
1 unborn great granddaughter: Lizzie Lewis and
Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Lawrence Gilliam officiating and burial in Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 7:00 a.m. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
