Glen Barton Hurt

Glen Barton Hurt, 86, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky.  The Scottsville, KY native was a farmer and member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church where he served as deacon.  He was the son of the late Harry Guy Hurt and Sarah Elizabeth Barton Hurt. 

He is survived by his wife:  Wanda Hurt, Scottsville, KY; 

2 daughters:  Debbie Spencer and husband, Lester, and Dana Pruitt and husband, Robbie, all of Scottsville, KY; 

1 sister:  Geraldine Howard and husband, Mike, Scottsville, KY; 

6 grandchildren:  Rob Pruitt, Jr. (Michelle), Renee Jones (Jake), Adam Lee (fiancee', Marccia), Sarah Cherry (Christopher), Allison Wheeler (Nick), and Thomas Spencer; 

10 great grandchildren:  Kylie Bridgeman (Dustin), Macy Stephenson (Cory), Clayton Jones, Charli Beth Jones, Jordan Lee, Marcus Lee, Harper Wheeler, Nora Wheeler, Gracelynn and Jayden ; 

Several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Robby Calvert and Bro. Jeff Costello officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.   Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 8:00 a.m. Sunday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church or Hospice of Southern Kentucky.  Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
