Gerald "Wormy" Taylor, 80, of Scottsville, KY passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 at his residence. The Capital Hill, KY native was a retired employee of F.M.C. and a carpenter. He was a son of the late James Riley Taylor and Estell Wheat Taylor Anderson.
He is survived by his loving companion of 40 years: Jo Rogers, Scottsville, KY;
1 son: Richard Taylor and wife, Penny, Scottsville, KY;
2 daughters: Rita York and husband, Robin and Deanna Whitney and husband, George, all of Scottsville, KY;
1 sister: DarRita Carver and husband, Greg, Scottsville, KY;
1 brother-in-law: Wayne Pardue, Scottsville, KY;
8 grandchildren: Carlie Costello (Jake); Carson Taylor and Isaac Taylor; Robbie Valenzuela (Joseph); Baillie York and Hunter York; Ryley Whitney and Kayden Whitney;
4 great grandchildren: Mackenzie Barton, Addison Barton, Case Costello and Corbin Costello.
He was preceded in death by 1 sister: Sue Pardue.
Memorial services will be 4:00 P.M. Sunday, September 18, 2022 at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Wilson officiating. Wormy chose to be cremated and the family is honoring his wishes. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Sunday at Goad Funeral Home.
