Geneva Cherry Sullivan, 73, of Adolphus, KY passed away Monday, March 2, 2020 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Monroe County, KY native was a former employee of Washington Overall Manufacturing and Kentucky Apparel and Old Kentucky Foods and a member of Durham Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Carlie Haskel Cherry and Vesta Catherine Shockley Cherry and wife of the late Stanley Morrow Sullivan.
She is survived by 1 daughter: Kim Wix and husband, Buddy, Adolphus, KY;
2 grandsons: B. J. Wix and wife, Kelsey, and Broxton Wix;
1 great grandson: Cowan Wix;
2 sisters-in-law: Linda Cherry and Sylvia Cherry, both of Adolphus, KY.
She was preceded in death by 5 brothers: J. R. Cherry, Charlie Cherry, James Clay Cherry, Clarence Cherry and Gary Cherry.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick and Teddy Ogles officiating and burial in Durham Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 7:00 a.m. Thursday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
