Freida Joan (Cowles) Tabor

Freida Joan Tabor, 84, of Scottsville, KY passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024 at her residence.  She was born in Bowling Green, KY and was a former employee of Scotscraft, General Electric and A. O. Smith.  She was a daughter of the late J D Cowles and Hallie Watt Cowles and wife of the late William Rondal Tabor. 

She is survived by 2 daughters:  Tammy Tabor, Scottsville, KY and Angie Blevins, Adolphus, KY; 

1 brother: Marvin Cowles and wife, Donna, Brownsville, KY; 

3 sisters:  Leona Polston and Sue Marcum, both of Bowling Green, KY and Geraldine Kester, OH; 

3 grandchildren:  Amber Scering, Ashton Blevins and Austin Blevins; 

1 great grandchild:  Mars Hill; 

Several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by 1 son:  Marty Tabor and 1 brother:  Gary Cowles. 

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Monday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
