Frederick Louis Morris

Frederick Louis Morris, 67, of Franklin, KY passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at his residence.  The Bowling Green, KY native was born September 12, 1956, a birthdate that he and his dad shared.  He was a retired employee of the Bowling Green Post Office after 27 years of service, a U. S. Air Force veteran and 1975 graduate of Bowling Green High School.  Fred loved sports and college basketball and was a University of Kentucky fan for many years.  He also enjoyed walking their little Yorkie "Sam." 

He is survived by his wife:  Kathy Perry Morris, Franklin, KY; 

1 son:  David Steenbergen, Scottsville, KY; 

2 daughters:  Kimberly Stamper and husband, Keith, Bowling Green, KY and Tracee Malone, Bowling Green, KY; 

6 grandchildren:  Dylan Blair, Ely Blair, Abby Blair, Levi Malone, Riley Stamper and Tristan Stamper; 

1 great grandson:  Ryder Blair. 

He was preceded in death by his parents:  Homer Morris and Deloris Mattingly Morris; his father-in-law:  Sterling Perry and mother-in-law:  Gladys Perry. 

There will be no visitation or funeral service.  Cremation was chosen and Goad Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
