Frederick Mack Brown

Frederick Mack Brown, 79, of the Allen Springs Community passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the Medical Center at Scottsville.  Fred was a son of the late T. D. Brown, Jr. and Ruth Hooten Brown, who survives.  He was a retired employee of G. E. and A. O. Smith, a 1963 graduate of ACHS and United States Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years: Florita C. Brown, Scottsville, KY;

4 children:  Shelane (Terry) O'Neal, Stephanie (James) Spence and Shana (David) Vincent, all of Glasgow, KY and Andrew Brown, Bowling Green, KY; 

His mother:  Ruth Brown, Scottsville, KY; 

3 sisters:  Wanda (David) Samson and Pat (Junior) Bray, all of Scottsville, KY and Jenice (Eddie) Harper, Adolphus, KY; 

1 brother:  Donald (Rosie) Brown, Scottsville, KY; 

1 sister-in-law:  Janice Brown, Scottsville, KY; 

5 grandchildren:  Kacey O'Neal, Makayla Vincent, Jacob Spence, Caleb O'Neal and Ethan Vincent; 

A special nephew:  Jesse Meador. 

He was preceded in death by a brother:  David William Brown. 

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home with Terry O'Neal and Donald Brown officiating and laid to rest in New Mt. Gilead Cemetery.  Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday and after 7:00 A.M. Saturday until funeral time at Goad Funeral Home.
